Duties include
- To undertake the full range of environmental health duties relating to occupational Health & Safety, food safety, animal welfare (in respect of licensed or registered activities); smoke free;infectious disease control; caravan sites, in accordance with statutory requirements and guidance.

- To develop areas of specialist knowledge, taking a lead role in specific operational activities and assisting the service team manager in co-ordinating the teams activities.

- To ensure effective communication with colleagues across the council, partners and customers.

- To implement systems and procedures to meet best value needs and improve performance management

- To promote and market the regulatory services through presentations, written and visual materials and other appropriate means

- To attend meetings, presentations and exhibitions when required as a representative of the client

- To contribute to the development of policies and supporting procedures in relation to the clients strategic objectives for improving public health & reducing inequalities in health

- To work flexibly and to support colleagues and undertake and other duties

You will be required to work between 2 sites, Leek & Buxton
