An automation solutions company is looking for finance manager. The successful candidate will report to finance director and be in charge of the overall accounting activities.

Job responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting, tax, banking, audit, cash flow, internal control, legal, and compliance operations.
  • Execute accounting activities in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local regulations.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and reconciliation of monthly sales cut-off, providing related reports, and advising on proper control to meet local and corporate requirements.
  • Collaborate with LBP to validate commission accruals for payment.
  • Prepare monthly VAT reports, reconcile them with the trial balance and HFM, and ensure timely submission.
  • Reconcile annual VAT reports with Corporate Income Tax Returns and credit taxes.
  • Coordinate with Global Financial Services in Manila to review and approve accrual accounts, analysis accounts, and adjustments before month-end close.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports, ensuring compliance with local and corporate requirements and reconciling taxes between local GAAP and USGAAP.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and intercompany branches for statutory reports and tax consolidation.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and corporate taxes as per local regulations and corporate deadlines.
  • Liaise with local government offices, Global Financial Services, regions, and corporate entities regarding taxes, trade compliance, and other control matters.
  • Establish proper internal control and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Provide management reporting to local and regional management, ensuring adequate internal control processes for taxation, accounting records, inventory, fixed assets, and related operational activities.
  • Address other requests and assignments as directed by the company.
Job requirements
  • Holds a degree in Accountancy or CPA certification.
  • Possesses a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a fast-paced multinational corporation (MNC) environment or audit firms.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working well under pressure.
  • Proficient in Oracle, Hyperion, or similar business systems.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations and US GAAP.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and results-oriented approach.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
