Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive team productivity to achieve excellence in cooling product design and development.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and performance.
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, production, finance, product planning, and sales.
  • Collaborate with North America and APEC engineering teams to ensure strategy alignment and seamless project execution.
  • Assess and mitigate risks to achieve ambitious product development targets.
  • Benchmark new technologies and trends in cooling systems for innovation in product development.
  • Oversee project management activities, including risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Ensure the integration of quality standards and Lean principles into design and development processes.
Technical Expertise Required:
  • Strong knowledge of cooling products, particularly cold coil technologies and heat transfer mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with quality tools like 8D, 7 Problem-Solving Tools, SPC & CpK, and PPAP processes.
  • Understanding of Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in applying advanced design tools and software to cooling product development.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or higher, preferably in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
  • Certified Project Manager (CPM) certification is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in organizational management.
  • At least 3 years in engineering project management or leading cooling system design initiatives.
  • High ethical standards and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and business judgment skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to adapt to new scopes of work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
