Design Engineer Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Drive team productivity to achieve excellence in cooling product design and development.
Lead cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and performance.
Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, production, finance, product planning, and sales.
Collaborate with North America and APEC engineering teams to ensure strategy alignment and seamless project execution.
Assess and mitigate risks to achieve ambitious product development targets.
Benchmark new technologies and trends in cooling systems for innovation in product development.
Oversee project management activities, including risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Ensure the integration of quality standards and Lean principles into design and development processes.

Technical Expertise Required:

Strong knowledge of cooling products, particularly cold coil technologies and heat transfer mechanisms.
Familiarity with quality tools like 8D, 7 Problem-Solving Tools, SPC & CpK, and PPAP processes.
Understanding of Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies for continuous improvement.
Experience in applying advanced design tools and software to cooling product development.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or higher, preferably in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
Certified Project Manager (CPM) certification is advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in organizational management.
At least 3 years in engineering project management or leading cooling system design initiatives.
High ethical standards and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team motivation and development.
Strategic thinker with excellent planning and business judgment skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to adapt to new scopes of work.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
