Responsibilities: Machine Management
- Manage and oversee the relocation of machinery (shipping) appropriately.
- Develop annual work plans, manpower planning, and maintenance schedules for heavy machinery.
- Allocate machinery to meet departmental demands, including purchasing or renting external machinery.
- Provide consultation to the purchasing department in sourcing machinery and evaluating options for renting or purchasing heavy equipment.
- Manage revenue generation activities, such as renting machinery to external parties and providing repair services.
- Approve tasks within assigned authority levels.
General Repairs
- Supervise and manage overall machinery repair processes.
- Create repair plans, monitor progress, and ensure tasks adhere to the schedule.
- Provide guidance to team leaders on repairs and approve repair jobs.
- Manage and control expenses incurred during machinery repairs.
- Analyze and oversee major overhauls (e.g., Overhaul maintenance).
- Develop training plans to enhance team knowledge and ensure access to technical information for various types of heavy machinery.
- Evaluate team performance and oversee general departmental activities.
Preventive Maintenance (Predictive Maintenance)
- Oversee and control the overall Preventive Maintenance (PM) process.
- Plan and propose ideas for implementing PM strategies.
Machinery Registration Management
- Plan and oversee tax renewals, civil liability insurance, and insurance for each type of machinery as appropriate.
- Manage and ensure proper registration of machinery in compliance with government regulations.
Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (Q&SHE)
- Collaborate with top management to analyze the company’s context, set strategic directions, and assess organizational risks.
- Promote continuous improvement of Q&SHE management systems.
- Act as a Safety Officer (Management Level) and attend training in compliance with occupational health and safety laws.
- Participate in emergency drills and training programs as scheduled by the company.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 7+ years of experience in machining operations, maintenance/ machining equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including workforce planning, delegation, and performance evaluation.
- Strong ability to analyze machining issues and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and environmental compliance related to machining.
