A Primary School in central Cambridge is recruiting for experienced SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) Assistants to start immediately from half-term for both full and part-time posts.
The pupils you will be working with have varying levels of challenging behaviour therefore, a resilient, empathetic and patient individual would be perfect for the role. The role will involve a combination of 1:1 support and general classroom support.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Have experience supporting students with SEMH
Experience either in school capacity or through Youth or Support work.
Be enthusiastic and flexible with a very "hands-on" approach
Have excellent communication skills
Be passionate about making a difference
Be prepared to get involved with school life and make a positive contribution to the school
