Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking to secure a long-term post to cover a Maternity Leave in a welcoming & progressive school?


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Year 6 Teacher at one of our client schools in Derby. The school is Ofsted rated 'Good' and boast a warm and progressive environment underpinned by energetic and competent leadership.

To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a formal teaching qualification - B.Ed, PGCE with QTS or equivalent
Have recent experience teaching the UK National Curriculum
Have recent and relevant experience in teaching Upper Key Stage 2
Have right to work in the UK

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and creative teacher who is able to ensure that each child in their care will fulfil their potential. You will be a positive but firm behaviour manager who holds a firm knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, Assessment for Learning and all relevant Safeguarding legislation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
