A fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistant and aspiring Teachers is available in a Rotherham school.

Protocol Education are working with a Rotherham Primary School to appoint a driven and motivated Primary School Teaching Assistant to a school that pride themselves on maintaining a friendly atmosphere for their children and staff.

This is perfect for graduates looking to progress their teaching career and gain invaluable experience in the classroom. We welcome applicants who have had experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, Cover Supervisor, 1-2-1 Support , Learning Support and Behaviour Support.

The Role
• KS1 and KS2 Primary Teaching Assistant (Years 1 & 2)
• Providing class teachers with support in the daily learning
• Leading activities with small groups of children
• Working all abilities including: EAL, behaviour, emotional and learning difficulties
• Perfect experience for future PGCE or Schools Direct applicants!

The Candidate
• Strong academic background - A levels and GCSEs
• Understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Pro-active approach with a desire to raise standards in the classroom
• Creative, team player and motivated
• Enjoys working with and developing children's learning
• Is happy to take part in new training experiences and learn from others

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
