Year 6 Teaching Role - Sheffield
Protocol education is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to work in a large primary school in the North of Sheffield.
Starting in October 2019, the successful applicant will join a team of 3 teachers, sharing all planning and working collaboratively, further assisted by a supportive member of SLT. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a strong, forward-thinking and committed primary school.
What we expect from you:
-Be able to provide at least two different teaching references covering the last 2 years, or your last two teaching placements and University reference if you are an NQT
-QTS or equivalent
-Eligibility to work in the UK
-Have experience teaching in schools in either the UK or overseas where your qualification is recognised by NARIC or NCTL
-Good organisational skills with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
-Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
-Good classroom management skills
The ideal candidate will be someone who can effectively challenge pupils to achieve, using a range of engaging methods and excellent communication skills. You will be approachable, organised with a good eye for detail, able to work under your own initiative to help raise attainment for pupils on a D2D basis. You will be able to demonstrate a consistent level of teaching ensuring delivery of quality lessons that add value to pupils and school.
