I am working with a SEND school for pupils aged 2-19 years with severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, physical and neurological impairments and sensory/ multisensory impairments. The school has very good facilities and is undertaking some existing developments in the provision of vocational experiences for the 14-19-year age group.

About the Role
The school are seeking a class teacher to start as soon as possible with experience of working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Class size of 6 to 7 pupils with fantastic support staff.

Applications from teacher who are currently in special education are welcomed but I am also interested in hearing from teachers who wish to consider transitioning from mainstream education in to special education.

·Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
