Protocol Education are currently searching for an experienced behavioural specialist to work as a youth mentor in one of our leading special needs schools. The role is for a September start, and will run through to the end of the academic year.

The school is based in the bustling area of Kingston upon Thames, easily accessible via public transport or by driving.

The role will involve you working closely with children with special needs, ranging from, ASD, autism, challenging behaviour, and so on. You will be spending a lot of time on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils, so past experience of working in a special needs environment is preferred, but not essential.

The role will include:
-Working 8am to 4pm in a school setting
-5 days a week
-Working during term times
-Assisting children on a 1:1 and small-group basis

Successful candidates will have:
-Past experience of working with children within the last 3 years
-A passion for working in special needs
-A form of UK-based experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
