Protocol Education are seeking graduates looking for a way into teaching. By becoming a teaching assistant, you can get the experience you require and add more skills to your CV.

The role is within a special academy that has been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted since 2014, the academy is for pupils aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs including Autism. The school prides themselves in having high standards and continually working on improving their pupils' performances. By maintaining an environment that is nurturing, encouraging and supportive while at the same time setting challenges. As a Graduate teaching assistant, your main responsibility will be to ensure pupils achieve their full potential in their academic, social, creative, personal, physical and moral development.

Graduates from all subjects are welcome to apply for this position.

Duties as a Graduate Teaching Assistant Include:

• Assisting in providing effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons.
• Supporting the progress of pupils, educational and behaviour.
• Preparing classroom resources and activities.
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
