A school in Sandwell is currently looking for a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, to work with children with SEMH.

This opportunity is open to experienced Teaching Assistants who has previously worked with children with SEMH

The role may include working generally in a class, working in smaller classes or working 1:1 with a child. The Headteacher is looking for someone who is committed and able to work with the SENCo and other teaching assistants to provide the best quality care for the children.

Person Specification:

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with knowledge of SEMH
Dedicated and committed to working with SEN children
Able to work with the SENCo and classroom teacher to give the best teaching to the child
Strong academic background
Must be pro-active and able to use their own initiative

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
