An Outstanding' rated Secondary school based in West Wickam, Croydon, are currently searching for a Nurture Teacher, to work on a temporary, to long term basis, 5 days a week.

The school has an amazing reputation, offers CPD and additional training to all staff members. It is easily accessible via public transport, the nearest station being a 5-minute walk away.

The role will include you managing the emotional wellbeing of the more vulnerable students within the school. You must identify the challenges they face daily and help them overcome them. Therefore, previous experience of working with people with SEMH is preferred but not essential.

Your Role:
-Working on a weekly basis, from 8:30am to 4pm.
-Leading a class of 6-7 pupils with SEMH.
-Planning and delivering lesson plans to support the pupils.

You Must Have:
-Previous experience, and/or a passion for working in special needs.
-A highly motivated attitude towards teaching.
-QTS (qualified teacher status), or the overseas equivalent.
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to undertake one through us).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
