Protocol Education is currently looking for teaching assistants for a secondary school located in Hillingdon.The school's location makes it easily accessible by car, bus and other modes of transport. The schools aim is that all children and young people at the school are entitled to an appropriate education, one that meets their needs, promotes high standards and the fulfilment of potential.The lovely staff are headed up by a very enthusiastic and supportive management team with serious ambitions of making a difference in the local borough.
The role involves supporting students aged 11-19 with ASD, PMLD, SLD and Complex Needs. Either in a 1-to-1 capacity or across a classroom in junction with a teacher and other teaching assistants.

Previous experience either in a similar setting, or through training is favourable but not nessasary. Successful candidates will be proactive, calm, patient and most importantly willing to commit to the role long-term. As positions will be full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30-4pm.


Role requirements:
• LSA / TA experience (advantageous)
• Availability for the hours 8:30-4:00pm
• Manual handling (advantageous)
• Previous SLD, PMLD, ASD or Complex Needs experience.
• Ideal candidates will be proactive, patient and willing to learn.
• Willing to commit to the role long-term.


All candidates will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview. If you don't currently hold a DBS you must be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
