We are working with a popular Church school in the heart of London, looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them for the rest of the academic year in Year 3.

The role involves working closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils of all abilities on a one to one basis, taking small groups for interventions in numeracy and literacy, and supporting the whole class. The school has a high percentage of SEN and pupils on FSM, but has very high expectations of all children and staff and behaviour and achievement is very good as a result. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, takes initiative, has good communication skills in speaking and writing and who is looking to commit for the full year.

Suitable applicants will;
- Have experience working in a primary school setting as a Teaching Assistant
- Have childcare qualifications or be educated to degree level
- Have excellent communication skills and a good level of written and spoken English
- Have experience working with children with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
