Protocol Education are currently recruiting a recent graduate, to work as a special needs Learning Support Assistants. The school is in Wandsworth in a new state-of-the-art's building. We are looking for someone who is committed, reliable, proactive and has a passion for education. Our school caters to the needs of children aged 2-11 years old, with a range of multifaceted physical disabilities, severe and/or profound learning difficulties with additional communication needs.

Our school takes pride in providing a friendly, supportive and safe environment with a climate of trust, honesty and positivity. Staff are expected to focus on their pupils and what they can do now. The school liaise in close relationship with families and the multi-disciplinary team around the child, they develop aspiring and meaningful expectations and celebrate every single achievement their pupil's make. We are looking for someone who will focus on creating an environment that will empower each child to become confident, independent life-learners who are able to express themselves and their choices, whilst safeguarding, their happiness and safety.

The role will involve you working closely with special needs pupils and staff; on a 1:1, and group-basis, inside and outside of the classroom. You must be available to work at least 5 days a week, from 8am to 4pm.

Our only requirement is for you to have some recent, UK-based, child/support working experience!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
