Protocol Education is a leading education recruitment company that works with a number of schools across primary, secondary and SEND. At the moment, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a "Good" school based in Uxbridge for secondary aged students with special needs, mainly autism, but also some students have MLD.
The school currently looks after over 100 students between aged 11 and 18 offering them mainstream lessons, life skills and the chance to learn sign-a-long. The school will encourage the students as much as possible to be as independent as they can, so they will do cooking lessons, learn and practice how to make the bed, set the table, cook and clean. They also offer out the on-site salon to students on their prom-night so they can have their hair and make-up done.
The school is looking for someone to work in their year 10 class which has 8 students and 1 other support staff. Ideally they would like someone to start as soon as possible, but would wait for the right person.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
