Protocol Education are working on behalf of a number of large, inner city Primary Schools in Manchester who are seeking SEN TA's to support different students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities needs including; Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Down Syndrome, Global Development Delay, PMLD and Hearing Impairments on a full-time basis. You must have previous experience within this field, be confident in your abilities, be patient and of course have a positive impact on the children and their progression throughout the year.

The SEND Teaching Assistant role involves primarily working one to one. We're seeking people preferably with a strong background in working with children with Special Education Needs, however, it is not compulsory. If you have a background in care or within a youth group for example, we will consider your application. You must have passion and the willingness to learn and develop you experience within this sector, please apply with your updated CV.

Requirements:
• 1 year minimum experience working with children with SEN - very desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake one
• Passion, patience and great communication skills
• Commitment and dedication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
