Special needs Teaching Assistant Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and for Autism (ASD/ASC)

Protocol education are looking for a special needs teaching assistant for a school located in Uxbridge, Middlesex on a long term bass for students within a college environment. For this specific role as a teaching assistant you are required to support adults between 18 and 25 years old with a range of learning difficulties including Autism and profound Multiple learning difficulties.

The college objectives are to develop personalised pathways and choices so the pupils can meet their own aspirations. The college is centrally located to reach their local, swimming pool, park, shops and other outdoor areas.

Ideally the experience for this role is working with children or adults with special educational needs, preferably post 16, but this is not essential. You will need excellent communication skills and resilience. Also, to be able to use your own initiative and be a team player.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
