Job description
We are currently looking for a SEMH teaching assistant to join the primary team of our SEND school. The larger than average school is based in Charnwood so easily accessible from the city, Loughborough and Melton Mowbray.

The role

you will manage sen pupils across the primary site, working with a variety of children who have SEMH needs including EBD, anxiety, attachment needs. Primarily based in the classroom you will work with key children on a 1:1 basis to raise their attainment. There will also be some out of class work liaising with other agencies, writing reports and planning intervention sessions with class teachers.

Succussful candidates will have experience working with children with a range of SEMH and SEN needs including dyslexia or dyscalculia, autism, moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties, behavioural challenges or psychiatric needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
