Protocol Education are welcoming a position for a teaching assistant to work across multiple age groups, in a school with pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities. Our school believes that all pupils are entitled to a personalised curriculum that is centred around their specific needs and potential, offering a safe, positive and challenging environment for pupils to learn and grow. As a learning support assistant, you are expected to think outside the box, create new ideas boosting pupil's natural interests and desire to learn. Working together with families, multi-agency professionals, and the local community to ensure that the school is providing a safe, caring environment.

The Role:
• Start Date, September 2019.
• Full time, Monday - Friday.
• The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
• Salary £60 - 80 per day.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience working in schools.
• Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour, promoting focus within a classroom environment and giving on-going 1:1 support.
• Able to provide 2 relevant references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
