What does the job consist of?

Protocol Education are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join several of our schools within the boroughs of Greater Manchester.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely on a 1:1 basis supporting pupils with a variety of needs including ASD/SEMH/Global Developmental Delay. You will be keeping on top of pupil's behavioural patterns and ensuring a good standard of work is being carried out at school and is continued at home.

This presents an ideal role for Psychology graduates who are looking to expand their portfolio.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you must have a natural aptitude with behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. You must be able to have a level of resilience, have a good sense of humour, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience already to build upon.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
