Primary Teaching Assistant - Bromley - September start

This lovely Bromley School is looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant who they can enrol onto a Schools Direct programme in September 2020! You will carry out a full academic year as a Primary Teaching Assistant in order to learn the ropes and gain some experience within the classroom environment. After this, the Head Teacher will be happy to put you onto a Schools Direct programme and fully support you through your teacher training.

For the first year, your responsibilities will include:

·Helping the class teacher set up the classroom
·Managing behaviour within the classroom
·Helping with additional marking
·Working 1:1 and in small groups for reading and maths interventions
·Helping the class teacher with daily tasks
·Running 1:1 and small group intervention sessions

Person Specification

·Must hold a Degree
·Ambitions of becoming a Primary School teacher in the future
·Able to use your own initiative
·Confident and passionate about providing the best quality of education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
