Are you a qualified English teacher looking for a new position? Can you motivate and inspire even the hardest to reach of learners? Do you have fantastic behaviour management skills?

A large and thriving alternative provision in the Middlesbrough area are seeking specialist secondary English teachers to work within their Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 teams, covering the whole English curriculum up to and including GCSE.

The right candidate will be engaging, versatile and resilient and preferably have experience working within an alternative education or SENd setting. We are also open to applications from those who have worked within mainstream settings and are seeking a new challenge.

In light of this, we are seeking suitable candidates with a genuine desire to work in the special needs sector, the ability to build relationships with pupils and those who have a real passion for teaching.

To be considered for the role, it is vital that a CV is attached to any application showing the following:

- QTS (Secondary)
- Experience in mainstream or SENd
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team Teach training is preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
