The role;
Protocol Education are recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant. The role will involve working alongside teaching staff to support learning activities in schools in West London from September 2019. This is an excellent opportunity with flexible working hours. The successful applicants need to be able to work closely as part of a team, be flexible and have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities and tasks;
To support working relationship with the pupils, acting as role model and setting high expectations.
To support pupils learning in the most effective way.
To meet the personal needs of pupils whilst encouraging their independence.
To support pupils with special educational needs through the delivery of specific learning programmes and to contribute to setting individual education plan (IEP) targets and to IEP reviews.
To encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively, ensuring all pupils are engaged in activities.
To provide support in the delivery of the Primary National Strategy Literacy and numeracy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
