A well established and organised Secondary school in Kirklees are looking for an experienced support worker to work 1-1 with a young pupil who is disengaged from learning and with complex learning needs.
The ideal applicant would hold Team teach as the may be required to restrain the pupil from time to time.
The role is to support the pupil in a mainstream high school on a full time basis. You would be required to work alongside the pupil in mainstream classes as well as in isolation areas.
For this role you would need to have a compassionate approach and be non judgemental. You will be required to support on the Education side.
All applicants would need to have a current enhanced DBS that is valid and on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
