This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for day-to-day work to build up to a fulltime career and increase your school-based experience and kick-start your career.

Your main duties will include:

  • Working from 8:30am to 4pm, during term times
  • Assisting SEN pupils with their daily challenges
  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A form of UK-based school/support working experience within the last 3 years
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service or willingness to undertake one
  • A passion for working in special needs
  • Moving and Handling experience (preferably)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties experience (preferably)
  • Team Teach (preferably)

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
