Are you a calming presence that can react quickly to situations developing?
We currently require a teaching assistant to work with Key Stage 2 pupils with challenging behaviour in a mainstream School in Tower Hamlets. This role will be full time and long term.
Your role will be to maintain the high standards of behaviour then school expects by following the school's behaviour policy.
You will be a strong rapport builder who can quickly build relationships and trust with students and teachers.
To be considered you do not need any specific qualifications, but the following attributes are desirable.
•Relevant experience working with children
•Experience working with special educational needs
•Ability to develop professional relationships with pupils and staff
•Strong communication skills
•Ability to deliver effective classroom management in line with the school's behaviour policy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
