Would you like to share your skills and passion with students with students with special education needs and disabilities (SEND)?

This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic Drama graduates in the Southwark area who are interested in working in SEND schools. The school is a specialist autism school in the heart of Southwark with excellent transport links.

You will be able to really make a difference in the children's lives by sharing your passion for the creative arts and getting students excited about learning. You will be supported by a large team of staff all devoted to giving the children the highest quality of education.

Key Responsibilities:
·Helping to engage students in lessons with creative approaches
·Assisting SEND students 1:1 in small classes of 6-8 students
·Working 8:30am- 4pm, Monday- Friday from September 2019
·Full-time, Part-time or Flexible work available

Job Requirements:
·Voluntary or professional experience working with children in the last 3 year
·A passion for helping people and promoting creativity
·Experience with children with SEND.
·Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
