Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a learning support assistant to work with a pupil with Visual Impairment on a 121 basis. The position is to start immediately and will be on going. The role has arisen as a result of an on-going sickness.

This secondary school is based in south Northumberland, and is easily accessible from North Tyneside and Newcastle via the A19 and public transport links.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced Learning Support Assistant, or have relevant experience working with Visual Impairment
• Be a kind, caring, empathetic and supportive individual passionate about providing equal learning opportunities for all students.
• Be a hard-working individual who works well as part of a team
• Have a positive and encouraging attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
