Protocol Education are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants who have an interest in working in Alternative Schools in and around the Wakefield area supporting students with complex learning difficulties.

We work with a number of SEND schools around the Wakefield area that require staff for day to day, cover and full time roles.

Students have a range of varied needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and medical needs. The schools caters for children with Social, Emotional and Mental health issues and Autism. The students can be challenging that's why it's of importance that you must have some experience working with challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will work effectively in a team; You will be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with the children, supporting each student with their individual needs. You must be willing to attend any necessary training; and be reliable and trustworthy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
