One of our leading Special Needs Schools, based in Leicestershire, are currently recruiting a 1:1 Support Assistant, to work with a child attending their college course.

Hours - 9:00-16:00
College - Melton
Course - Animal Care

The role is for a part time opportunity starting ASAP, for Monday, Thursday and Friday. It will run through to the end of the academic year. You will be required to support the student both in and out of the classroom, a passion for animals is desirable but not essential. The child is KS4 boy.

Your day to day duties will include:
-Working secondary aged children with SEMH
-Assisting the children with their daily activities and any challenges that they may face
-Working alongside other members of staff to interact with the children

Ideal candidates will have the following qualities:
-A passion for working with special needs children
-Previous experience of working with individuals who have special needs or working in a child-based environment
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service, or the willingness to undertake one through us

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
