Working hours: For Full-Time, 08.00 am -16:00 pm Monday to Friday with a lunch break plus preparation, meetings and school events outside of these hours, as required.

This school has a co-educational intake, with pupils aged between and 11 - 18. The school's most recent Ofsted saw them graded as 'Good' and the school are looking for a strong practitioner to join their Science Faculty.

Within the City Of Leicester this co-educational secondary school are looking to appoint a Science Teacher. The school's Science Department has developed immensely over the last few years with Senior Leadership investing in a developing the quality of teaching and leadership of the department which has paid dividends. The school are keen to continue this development and are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to continue the good work carried out over the last few years.

The school itself takes pupils from age 11-18 and this position will predominantly see the successful candidate teaching all sciences at Key Stage 3 and Physics to Key Stage 4. The Department Head has presided over the development of the faculty over the last few years and has an excellent reputation for supporting their staff in their ongoing CPD.

You will be a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in either, Biology, Chemistry or Physics holding UK QTS and will have received either Good or Outstanding observations or Ofsted assessments. The School are keen to maintain the high teaching levels in the department and are keen to appoint the best candidate for the role regardless of experience. Experienced teachers should be able to demonstrate where they have added value to their current school.
