We are currently recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant to support a range of Children with additional needs such as ASD, for a large four-form entry Infant and Nursery school close to the richly diverse and welcoming community of Ruislip in West London.

The school benefits from a wealth of expertise, sharing of good practice and high quality training for all their staff. The school has a wonderful family feel and a supportive and friendly Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team.

In order to be successful you will have experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally within the SEND Team with demonstrable experience of providing 1:1 support to children with ASD. However transferable experience of working with children with ASD in a different setting will also be considered.

We are looking for people who not only have experience but have a caring, patient, self-motivated attitude to work as it is essential that you are able to build positive relationships and be able to take initiative. We are looking for someone who is able to start ASAP and the hours will be 8:30-4pm, this position is offered on a 1 year contract with the potential for a permanent contract in the future.

You will be working alongside the Class Teachers and the SENco, providing this specialist support to ensure that these children are able to access learning to the highest standards, ensuring that no child is left behind.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
