A beautiful, clean and organised setting based in the heart of Weston Super Mare are looking for a qualified practitioner to join their team.
The nursery sets itself in a quiet road around beautiful Victorian houses, when walking into the nursery, it has gorgeous décor so fresh and inviting which adds along with the lovely staff team, their friendliness leaves you feeling humble and just at home.
The nursery takes a different approach to developing children's learning and this is clearly evident through their gorgeous use of resources children are fulfilled with endless amounts of open-ended learning and have an insight into real life experiences through no plastic play. Staff support each other through CPD and really help to enthuse the Curiosity approach across the staff team.

The ideal qualified practitioner will be able to engage with children of all ages from 6 months - Pre-school age and most importantly have a can do' attitude. You will be confident working with babies and young children and have a calm and nurturing approach.
Key responsibilities of Qualified Practitioner:
Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
Supervise mealtimes
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children
Qualified Practitioners must have:
• Level 3 Qualification (NNEB, CACHE or NVQ).
• Experience working or in placement with children, ideally in an Early Years setting (Nursery, Pre-School, Children's Centre, Reception class)

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
