Protocol-education is searching for Higher Level Teaching assistants to fill in the various roles available we have to offer. These roles would be for an immediate start into the academic year of 2019/20 in our schools in the Merton and Sutton area.

The schools we deal with have an outstanding approach at meeting and delivering the required needs of their pupils who have special needs and severe learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties.

We provide support cover for pupils aged 4 to 16 years with learning difficulties and complex needs. The school covers for 140 young people which 50 are Primary and 90 Secondary in classes of around 12.

Candidates with experience dealing with pupils of these type of needs will be a bonus but it is not a requirement, however the school will still consider your application.

Successful candidate main duties will be:

•Experienced or interested in working with pupils with ASD and complex needs
•Flexible and able to work in challenging scenery
•Interested in working in a different setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
