Several leading special needs schools in the areas of Lambeth and Wandsworth are currently mass recruiting experienced PE Teachers to work in one of our Outstanding' Special needs School for an immediate start. It is an outstanding school for pupils aged 9 to 19 years which support pupils with SEND such as autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.

The role will require leading, delivering and co-ordinating lessons and curriculum to students that have autism, communication difficulties and developmental delay. Candidates who are committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their potential through engaging and stimulating teaching will considered to work in one of our outstanding SEN schools.

Successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:

•Confident in differentiating work in accordance to the students' needs
•Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and works well under pressure
•Have recent experience teaching SEN students
•Experience of working in a school working setting within the last 3 years
•An enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service, or willingness to undertake one at a one-off cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
