Are you a qualified primary teacher with over one year's teaching experience of pupils with ASD?

A specialist primary school in Southwark, South London are looking for a new experienced and dedicated teacher to join them.

The class contains 6 children who have all been diagnosed with ASD and challenging behaviours. Some children have dual diagnosis which can also be SLCN, ADHD and SEMH. The school has a well-staffed multidisciplinary team who work together to provide excellent education for their students.

Pay: £130-£170 a day (depending on experience)
Location: Southwark, London
Position: Full-time Class Teacher
Skills:
·Working with specialists including Occupational therapists and Speech and Language Specialists.
·Knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions
·A creative approach to learning.

Successful applicants will have:

·QTS or overseas equivalent
·UK teaching experience in the past 3 years
·An enhanced DBS on the update service (This can be completed with us at the standard cost of £44)
·Experience working with Autism or other special education (Voluntary is welcome)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
