We are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Nurse for an outstanding nursery based in Weybridge.

As a Nursery Nurse you will work as part of the nursery team to provide professional help to the staff and to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education through effective play. Maintaining positive working relationships with staff, parents and carers.

Essential qualities include: Willingness to learn and develop, be creative with ideas, enjoy working as part of a team, be a great communicator, be self-motivated, support your colleagues, committed to inspire and support children to express their ideas and opinions through meaningful and challenging play. We are passionate about child led play so experience of this approach would be beneficial; knowledge of child led play essential. Promoting reflective practice will be key to the role.

Essential early years' experience and qualifications include: Qualified to minimum Level 3 in an early years qualification with a minimum of 1 years' experience in an early years setting.

Essential knowledge includes: Excellent knowledge of child development and the Early Years Framework. Ability to develop strong bonds with parents and children, committed to inspire and support children's play with a focus on child-led play.

Salary: £9.25-11 per hour
Hours: Full-time between 7.30-18.30

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
