My client is in search for a Manager who is enthusiastic, energetic, motivated and has been in a similar role for at least a year. The role is to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and to have a keen passion for Early Years and a strong understanding of the EYFS.

  • Knowledge of Ofsted guidelines and Welfare requirements is essential
  • A detailed understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
  • To Provide high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of all children
  • Acquire and maintain positive working partnerships with staff, parents and carers
  • Keeping records on children and planning for their next steps
  • Having a positive outlook and supportive nature
  • Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained
  • Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents and staff
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery

Experience:
  • Management: 1 year (Required)
  • Childcare: 4 years (Preferred)

Qualification:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
