Their friendly and dedicated team of child-care professionals enjoy the unique setting of our nursery on one of the UK's leading city farms. As well as offering a beautiful environment, we have a wide range of resources and educational opportunities on our doorstep.

Over the past few years, the setting has been able to expand their provision to support 2-year funded families and families that are eligible for the 30-hour funding. This expansion has allowed them to create more qualified level 3 practitioner positions. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and committed practitioners who wish to thrive in their role through training and support, and to offer children great indoor and outdoor learning experiences in our very special setting.

The setting offers 25 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays, and even includes 5 in-service days each year, in which we offer staff training and we close between the Christmas and New Year. We invest in continual professional development and all staff have regular supervisions, appraisals and support. This beautoful setting believes in the importance of staff wellbeing and have achieved a rating of Excellence across all areas of the Workplace Wellbeing Charter.

The setting have successfully achieved the Bristol Standard and received amazing feedback on the work we do. We are currently rated Good' with Ofsted.

Person Specification

Essential

1. NVQ level 3, NNEB, or equivalent childcare qualification.
2. A minimum of 1 years proven experience of working in a childcare environment.
3. Knowledge and experience of working with the Early Years Foundation Stage
framework.
4. Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety issues in a childcare setting.
5. Awareness and understanding of safeguarding and the ability to safeguard all
children in the setting.
6. The ability to work as part of a team and work on own initiative.
7. The ability to maintain accurate records including those used for development
logs/learning diaries.
8. The ability to carry out observations on children and their learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
