Female P.E Teacher required in Croydon

Immediate Start

The London Secondary South team are working with a school in Croydon who are urgently looking for a Female PE Teacher to start in Croydon 2019 until the end of the academic year. The position is to teach PE as well as providing cross curricular cover supervision when needed by the school.

Their last OFSTED reported requires improvement however, the leadership and management is good, and the behaviour and safety of pupils is good.

Their most recent OFSTED states, 'Pupils say that senior leaders are everywhere and having a positive impact on raising standards at the school. The head of academy has created stability and confidence at the school, after years of change and uncertainty. He has made all school improvement pupil centred and successfully shared this with everyone. He is passionately committed to further raising aspirations and life chances for all pupils'

The successful applicant will be a qualified secondary trained Female PE Teacher with a solid background of teaching PE in UK secondary schools NQTs are suitable.

All applicants will be subject to past school references and a current DBS check under our clearance procedures

Suitable Teachers must:

Have a recognised teaching qualification and hold QTS or QTLS

Have a positive approach to managing behaviour and be passionate about your subject, and this is evident in your teaching

Have experience teaching PE to Key Stage 3 & 4

Be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the PE classes you are responsible for teaching as well as attending school meetings and parents evening

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
