Protocol Education is working with a large special needs schools based in Uxbridge to work predominately with students with autism from key stage 3 - key stage 5. The school is divided in to 3 different sections, key stage 3, key stage 4 & 5 and students with low level learning. The school is based on large grounds and very easy to reach by public transport and they also have an on-site car park for staff,
The school is looking for support staff who have worked in a similar environment or worked with similar special needs, or have worked in mainstream schools, looking to move over. You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative and have strong behaviour management. You will be working on either a 1:1 or a small group basis with students and depending on where you are based within the school, you could be helping students prepare for their GCSEs, teaching life skills or helping them to settle in to the school.
The working hours would be Monday and Wednesday from 8.30 to 5.00pm and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30 to 4.30. Although this is a temporary contract from now until the end of the summer term, there would always be potential to go permanent, so apply today and you will hear from us shortly!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
