This BS16 is s a family run day nursery, set up in 1987. Placed in an old Victorian house which has been further extended in 2016 to the adjoining house. The setting boasts a home from home envirnoment which is cosy and warm and greeted by friendly staff and confident children.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified or the equivalent Nursery Nurse to join our team as a fulltime staff member in a BS16 Nursery baby room .

You must have baby room experience and be able to work between the hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm.

Duties will be:

The care and supervision of the children including their social and emotional well-being
Promote equality and inclusion for all children.
Use planning to prepare activities to suit the children's needs and abilities
To complete relevant paperwork such as observations and assessments
To safeguard all children in your care
To work as part of a team
To Liaise with parents and provide verbal feedback about their children's day
be responsible to the proprietor , Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager and Room Leader
You need to

Have excellent time keeping and attendance
High standards of cleanliness for the nursery and personal hygiene
Uphold all Nursery policies and procedures and complete risk assessments and safety checks
Attend regular staff meetings
Undertake training outside nursery hours when required
Essential Requirements:

Level 3 Childcare qualification
Experience in a baby room Nursery Setting: Desirable
Flexible, Adaptable and excellent communication skills
Preferable but not essential , can be provided:

Desirable additional qualifications / training:

Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding Level 1
Food Hygiene

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
