We are working with a lovely primary school situated in Ealing who are looking for an experienced and devoted teaching assistant who has outstanding provision for all pupils with special educational needs. This teaching assistant would be required to provide one to one support for children with (ASD) Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and Speech and Language (S&L) disabilities. Ideally you will be trained in Makaton, Pecs and Team Teach so you can support the children to the best of your abilities. The school is enthusiastic about inclusion and they are looking for staff who will ensure that every individual child's needs is supported, challenged and inspired to their best abilities.

A Specialist teaching assistant will need the following experience and skills:

•Outstanding communication skills with the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
•Have experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
•Experience working within the child care sector.
•Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children.
•Ambitious to support and extend the learning opportunities for all our pupils.
•Show perseverance and maintain a can do' attitude and aspire to achieve goals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
