About the school
This role as an SEND teaching assistant is based in a large special school who cater for students with severe learning difficulties and PMLD. They have outstanding facilities available as well as an extremely welcoming staffing team who support all new members. This an all-through special needs school which means students attend from age 5 to 19 years old.
The role
The role of a SEND teaching assistant will involve supporting SLD students either in small groups or on a 1-1 basis. There will be elements of personal care so previous experience with this would be ideal. The school are looking for a proactive, confident and experienced teaching assistant.
Requirements
Willingness to carry out personal care
Experience supporting SEND students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
