We currently have opportunities to join a team of dedicated support workers at a large well equipped SEND School. The School caters for children of all ages that have profound and multiple learning disability, autism, sensory impairment and physical disability. The school is set in beautiful lush greenery and acres of out door space

As a Support Worker you will:
• encourage positive behaviour routines
• use a dynamic approach to enable the children we support to communicate, learn and participate in lessons
• be patient and adaptable - as flexibility when providing support is vital.
• provide support with personal care

Moving and handling certificate highly desirable. If you don't have a certification we can book you onto a course!

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00


We have various work available and welcome applicants that are looking for full-time, shifts are rota based and will be spread across morning, afternoons, evenings.

As part of our ongoing safeguarding measures you will need to provide Protocol with 2 suitable references and a clear DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
