Support Teacher - Downs Syndrome

Protocol Education are working with a great 3 form school in the borough of Barnet. They require a compassionate teaching assistant that will be providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Downs Syndrome.
The following skills will be required;
Be prepared for physically and mentally challenging days
Create a Lively and fun environment for the pupil
To be able to keep the pupil engaged in activities you have set out
Have the pupils best interest at heart
Free Parking will be available around the school and public transport will be close by.
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
