Resistant Materials DT Teacher - North Leeds.

Due to a high demand from our partner secondary schools across Leeds, Protocol Education are looking to recruit Design Technology Teachers for long and short-term contracts.

Temporary contract potential to become permanent.
£115 £170 (experience based)

You will be responsible for teaching mainly Resistant Materials DT to secondary school pupils in a range of secondary school settings. You will need to have exceptional classroom and behaviour management skills and have proven results of raising attainment. Our schools really look to support you as we have historical links with our school settings.

We have one partnership school seeking a Resistant Materials teacher for an immediate start. The school is looking to recruit a DT teacher who will join a driven department delivering Resistant Materials across KS3/4. They are looking for a Design Technology teacher who has all the right attributes to make a valid contribution ensuring the students are making the right progress. Your new role will be varied and include a range of classes and abilities. You should really enjoy taking on a challenge and experience with SEN children would be an advantage.
The school will require you to assist in coursework and deliver GCSE curriculum.

You must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven ability in raising attainment in Resistant Materials
• Secondary PGCE or equivalent in Design Technology
• Experience of teaching KS3-KS4 DT in a secondary school
• Excellent behaviour management and subject knowledge
• Current DBS or be willing to pay for a new one
• Adhere to the school's marking policy
• Excellent time management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
