AUTISM SUPPORT WORKER OR AUTISM TEACHING ASSISTANT

Protocol Education is a social enterprise helping to increase pay for SEN TAs in Wolverhampton. We are not an agency!

We work with primary schools across London who have a high demand for Autism Support Workers or SEN TAs with experience working with children with autism or ASD. We are looking to bring onboard SEN TAs to work in either on a day to day basis, or on a longer term contract in EYFS, KS1 or KS2. If you have a passion for working with children with SEN, then this is the job for you!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

* Have experience working with SEN students

* Have experience working with ASD or students with autism

* Have a friendly and creative personality

* Possess excellent behaviour management strategies

* Be able to communicate effectively within a team

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
